Raised in a family of professional jazz musicians in New Jersey, Nora’s infatuation with music began at a young age. Throughout her childhood and beyond, she studied singing and tuba playing. Nora majored in Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she enjoyed prestigious music supervision internships with Search Party Music, Playtone Productions, and award winning music supervisor Rick Clark.
After graduating from Belmont University, She went on to work at VICE Media Group, where she successfully made creative music recommendations and cleared a wide array of music across all VICE TV and VICE News programming. After VICE, Nora took her first dive into freelancing, working with a variety of companies in Film, TV, and Advertising such as Found Objects, Townhouse, and Redwood Reveries. During this period is when she cleared music for the first season of the award winning FX show, The Bear. Freelancing lead her to a Music Coordinator position at the esteemed Premier Music Group, where she was honored to work on notable projects such as Killers of the Flower Moon, Harry & Meghan, Apollo 10 & 1/2, Hit Man, and more.
Currently, Nora is enjoying her career as a freelancer, working with a variety of music supervision, post production, and advertising companies; offering services in music supervision, music clearance, and music contracting. Most recently, she music supervised ATROPIA, the winner of the 2025 Sundance Film Festivals’ U.S Dramatic Competition.
By night and on weekends, Nora is a professional tuba player, playing private gigs and performing with some of New York’s finest brass bands. Her primary bands are Lucky Chops, the eminent touring brass band that struck viral gold with their covers on Youtube, and Brass Queens, an award winning all-woman brass band Nora helped to build.
